Do I really need to remove my wisdom teeth?

After precise 3D CT diagnosis, if not removed early, problems like acute inflammation, adjacent tooth damage, and TMJ disorders can occur. Recovery is faster and complication risk is lower when you're younger.
Can you handle difficult wisdom tooth cases?
Yes, we can. Yonsei Ona Dental has extensive extraction experience and a university hospital-level system for difficult cases. We safely extract challenging cases like horizontal impaction and full impaction that other clinics refer to larger hospitals, using precise 3D CT diagnosis.
Is wisdom tooth extraction painful?
Our state-of-the-art pain-minimizing anesthesia system minimizes pain during the procedure. For anxious patients, conscious sedation is available for comfortable treatment. Post-procedure swelling and pain are manageable with prescribed medication, and recovery is faster when you're younger.
What precautions should I take after wisdom tooth extraction?
Avoid hot and spicy foods after extraction and eat soft foods. Avoid intense exercise and saunas for 2-3 days, and take prescribed antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication regularly. Bite on gauze for 30 minutes to 1 hour, and avoid excessive brushing or using straws. Detailed care instructions will be provided after the procedure.
Can I get wisdom teeth removed quickly?
Extraction is possible immediately after 3D CT imaging and diagnosis. Our one-stop system completes diagnosis, extraction, and aftercare in a single visit. However, if inflammation is severe, extraction after anti-inflammatory treatment is safer, and our medical staff will advise the optimal timing based on your oral condition.
